Brackish or Salty Water - Residential & Industrial

BRACKISH OR SALTY WATER

Brackish water is water with a high salt content, or a high TDS (Total Disolved Salts/ Solids). You often find Brackish water along the coastal areas. To turn brackish water into fresh drinking water a Reverse Osmosis System is used.

Reverse Osmosis was developed as a water treatment method more than 40 years ago. The process first arose as a technique of desalinating seawater, which makes it an excellent treatment system for brackish water.

Reverse osmosis is a valuable water purification process when mineral-free water is the desired end product. Most mineral constituents of water are physically larger than water molecules. Thus, they are trapped by the semi-permeable membrane and removed from drinking water when filtered through a reverse osmosis system. Such minerals include salt, manganese, iron, and calcium.

We recommend the following product as a solution to brackish water:

5 Stage Reverse Osmosis System
1st Stage Water filter 5-micron removes all particles above 5 micron from the water supply.
2nd and 3rd Stage Carbon Filters, together remove Herbicides, Pesticides, Trihalomethanes, Chlorine, Organic Chemicals, lead and aluminum.
4th Removes the salt from the water.
5th Stage In-Line Activated Carbon water Filter effectively polishes the water prior to your consumption.
